1. 매우 긴 입상 배관의 경우 압력이 증가하게 되므로 충분한 과냉각이 필요하다.
2. 배관은 가능한 짧게 하여 냉매가 증발하는 것을 방지한다.
3. 가능한 직선적인 배관으로 하고, 곡관의 곡률반경은 가능한 크게 한다.
4. 증발기가 응축기 또는 수액기보다 높은 위치에 설치되는 경우는 액을 충분히 과냉각시켜 액 냉매가 관내에서 증발하는 것을 방지하도록 한다.
